This week, the Congressional Integrity Project drove the narratives of multiple bogus hearings – one on the fact-free, sham impeachment of Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and the markups in the House Oversight Committee and House Judiciary Committees on holding Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress for not testifying, despite showing up to the hearing and offering to testify publicly.
At the House Homeland Security Committee’s hearing, Republicans were still unable to cite a single impeachable offense by the Secretary. The hearing further proves how MAGA House Republicans have the wrong priorities and that impeachment is nothing but a political stunt, since Committee Chair, Mark Green, promised donors he would impeach the secretary back in April 2023.
Meanwhile, James Comer and Jim Jordan only held their markups as part of their year-long, evidence-free impeachment attempt of President Biden which is solely about returning Donald Trump to power. They spent all of 2023 investigating the President, and have not turned up a single shred of evidence of wrongdoing.
On the verge of a MAGA-fueled government shutdown, MAGA House Republicans continue to prove they have the wrong priorities. They are focused on political stunts all to undermine our democracy and help Donald Trump return to the White House in 2024. And they are doing all this while ignoring the important priorities of the American people. The same people leading these sham impeachment hearings are the same ones at Donald Trump’s right hand and who led the 2020 effort to overturn an election Trump and his allies knew he lost.

Republicans have invited a slate of three MAGA attorneys general representing states thousands of miles from the southern border to testify at their first impeachment-focused hearing.
The House Oversight Committee and House Judiciary Committee held markups to hold Hunter Biden in contempt for not testifying, despite the President’s son showing up to today’s House Oversight hearing offering to testify publicly.
Republicans are once again playing partisan, political games to harm President Biden and Democrats for purely political reasons while exacerbating the crisis at the border by rejecting President Biden’s proposals.
The House Oversight Committee interviewed Georges Bergès, whose gallery sold Hunter Biden’s artwork. Bergès told the committee that while working with Hunter, “he never had any contact with the White House at all.”
