This week, Congressional Integrity Project focused on pushing back on House Republicans’ bogus impeachment stunts. The increased push on impeachment from Kevin McCarthy and other Republicans comes after talks with Donald Trump about how Congressional Republicans could use their positions to help him.
Congressional Integrity Project continued to go after Republicans as they wrapped up their July “ESG Month” series which included holding hearings and introducing bills attacking responsible investing. Rather than focusing on addressing issues that actually matter to their constituents, like the economy, health care, and gun violence, the GOP Congress is focused on holding bogus hearings attacking investors for being forward-thinking with their investment strategies.
