The King of Innuendo Produces No Proof, No Evidence, No Anything Implicating Joe Biden
Washington, D.C. – Today, James Comer finally held his long-promised and over-hyped press conference about his investigation into President Biden and his family, but it’s clear Comer and his MAGA colleagues once again over-promised and under-delivered. Comer once again failed to prove anything other than the fact that this investigation has been a political stunt designed to provide political cover to sexual assaulter Donald Trump and hurt President Biden and the Democrats.
Comer again failed to deliver the goods he’s promised for months – a scintilla of evidence of wrongdoing by President Biden. And while Comer continues to rehash debunked conspiracy theories about President Biden, his credibility has been damaged beyond repair after years of obstructing any effort to investigate TrumpFamilyInfluencePeddling.com.
Congressional Integrity Project executive director, Kyle Herrig, issued the following statement:
“If James Comer was in any other profession he would be fired for being an abject failure at his job. Today was yet another embarrassment for Comer and his fellow MAGA Republicans who are engaging in political stunts to provide political cover to sexual assaulter Donald Trump and hurt President Biden and the Democrats. They have failed, again, to prove any evidence of wrongdoing by Joe Biden – but that hasn’t stopped them from going on TV pushing these ridiculous allegations and innuendo. It is clear they have nothing and are hoping the American people won’t see right through their conspiracy theories, baseless accusations, and downright lies. They have no credibility. If they really cared about corruption and influence peddling, they would be investigating the myriad examples of the Trump family’s conflicts of interest, corruption, influence peddling and business deals with our foreign adversaries. But Comer won’t investigate Trump family influence peddling because he has one overarching goal – protect Trump and hurt Biden.”
