Washington, D.C. – This morning, Trump sycophant and MAGA House Speaker Mike Johnson, at taxpayer expense, is at the courthouse in New York City for Donald Trump’s criminal trial for business fraud associated with hiding sex with a porn star from voters. In response, Congressional Integrity Project executive director, Kyle Herrig, issued the following statement:
“The Speaker’s office is nothing but an arm of the Trump campaign. Instead of delivering results for working families, Speaker Johnson is working for Donald Trump. The MAGA GOP has the wrong priorities, focusing their efforts on defending twice impeached, four-time indicted, insurrection-starting former president, while ignoring the important priorities of Americans across the country like cost of living, border security, and access to health care.”
