Washington, D.C. – Today, the MAGA Republicans on the House Administration Committee held a field hearing in Atlanta, Georgia to promote their anti-voter agenda. This hearing was the latest in a series designed to promote their agenda to quietly disenfranchise Americans. In response, Congressional Integrity Project executive director, Kyle Herrig, issued the following statement:

“MAGA Republicans continue to use the important issue of election integrity to try to disenfranchise Americans and take away the right to vote, but make no mistake:  they don’t actually care about our democracy. If they really cared about election integrity, they would work to expand access to voting rather than make it harder for people to vote in an attempt to return their disgraced former president to power. The ACE Act is simply a cover for their partisan goal of making it more difficult to vote.”
