Washington, D.C. – A new article detailed House Republicans’ plans to continue making their whole agenda about political stunts designed to hurt President Biden. Kevin McCarthy has ceded control of the House to hardliners who want to focus on impeachment above all else – despite not actually having evidence to justify it. In response, Congressional Integrity Project executive director, Kyle Herrig, issues the following statement:
“Kevin McCarthy is Speaker in name only. He is allowing MAGA and Trump cultists like Lauren Boebert and Marjorie Taylor Greene to dictate the House Republican agenda. Instead of focusing on the issues keeping Americans up at night like health care, rising costs, and gun violence, House Republicans plan to continue using their platforms to hurt President Biden and Democrats in a pathetic attempt to get their failed, twice-indicted, leader Donald Trump back in the White House. Republicans have found nothing remotely impeachable on President Biden or his Cabinet but that is not stopping them from conducting these political stunts.”
