Washington D.C. – Yesterday, House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy released a list of the House GOP’s priorities for the next Congress. In response, Congressional Integrity Project Executive Director Kyle Herrig said the following:
“The Republican agenda does nothing for the American people. This is nothing more than a list of conspiracy theories, lies, and smears against the Biden administration, all designed to help MAGA Republicans, not Americans. Last night, voters in Georgia soundly rejected the Trump-like, MAGA agenda put forward by McCarthy. It’s clear Americans don’t want their leaders to play petty, partisan games in order to enact revenge; they want them to work on issues that actually matter. McCarthy and the MAGA GOP are so far out of touch with everyday Americans, stopping at nothing for their own political gain.”
