Washington D.C. – This morning, Congressman Jim Jordan renewed his requests for information and interviews with four former and current government officials continuing his pattern of harassing public servants in service of gaining power for MAGA Republicans. In response, Congressional Integrity Project Executive Director Kyle Herrig said the following:
“Jim Jordan’s entire career has been characterized by harassing public officials on behalf of a radical, extreme agenda. Jim Jordan is a scorched earth partisan who has no interest in legitimate oversight but instead prosecuting a political case on behalf of MAGA Republicans and trying to destroy anyone who stands in the way. The voters have resoundingly rejected this approach, rejected the Trump playbook – but Jim Jordan doesn’t care. He’s all about gaining political power for himself and his MAGA allies.”
