Washington, D.C. – Over the weekend, James Comer did a wild, unhinged interview on Fox News where he claimed President Biden has committed “many crimes” – despite being unable to name one. James Comer has spent the past year and a half investigating the President and has not found a single shred of evidence of wrongdoing whatsoever.
In response, Congressional Integrity Project executive director, Kyle Herrig, issued the following statement:
“James Comer has completely lost his mind. His whole bogus impeachment political stunt has been designed from the beginning to distract from convicted felon Donald Trump’s multiple crimes to help him return to the White House in 2024. He has completely failed and is now facing his own scrutiny for his lack of evidence, taking to the airwaves to revive a phony impeachment that everyone knows is dead – including himself.”
