Washington, D.C. – Today, an explosive new transcript was released of an interview with Ukrainian oligarch, Mykola Zlochevsky, that completely refutes James Comer’s bogus Biden bribery scam. In 2019, Zlochevsky told an acquaintance of Trump pal Rudy Guiliani that nobody from his company ever spoke with then-Vice President Biden or anyone working with him. In response, Congressional Integrity Project executive director, Kyle Herrig, issues the following statement:
“Once again, James Comer, Jim Jordan, and their fellow MAGA Republicans have been exposed for peddling baseless and false conspiracy theories against President Biden. They have spent weeks widely claiming there are tapes showing Zlochevsky and President Biden discussing a bribe, but Zlochesky himself has said he had no contact with then-Vice President Biden. This new transcript refutes their entire political stunt which was never based on facts but a naked effort to hurt President Biden politically. Comer and Jordan have admitted that their plan is to help their failed former leader Donald Trump get back in the White House and they are not letting pesky little facts and the truth get in the way of throwing out wild accusation after wild accusation in the hopes that they can get the American people to buy into their transparent and shameful lies. Unfortunately for them, the gig is up.”
