Washington, D.C. – Today, Politico’s Morning Money released an analysis which found that Reps. Andy Barr (R-Ky.), Bill Huizenga (R-Mich.) and Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-Mo.) have cumulatively taken over $200,000 from the PACs of the leading asset managers. In response, Congressional Integrity Project executive director, Kyle Herrig, issued the following statement:
“MAGA Republicans are nothing but hypocrites. They’re trying to have their cake and eat it too, bashing responsible investing one day and going to the same investors, hat in hand, to beg for money the next. They have no problem taking money from the very same industry they are wasting time attacking for political points.”
