Washington, D.C. – This weekend, Congressional Integrity Project welcomed Rep. James Comer to his home district in Frankfort, Kentucky with an updated billboard calling on his constituents to go to JamesComersBigLie.com where they will find CIP’s roundup of stories highlighting the recently released transcript from Rep. Jamie Raskin. The transcript shows Ukrainian oligarch, Mykola Zlochevsky, admitting to never speaking with then-Vice President Biden and completely refuting Comer’s entire political stunt. In addition, Congressional Integrity Project executive director Kyle Herrig issued the following statement:
“James Comer and his fellow MAGA Republicans have been exposed time and time again for the frauds they really are, yet they continue their political stunt of an investigation. They have spent weeks claiming these tapes are the smoking gun to prove bribery but this transcript refutes their entire stunt. It’s time for Comer and his friends to move on and start focusing on issues that actually matter to the American people and stop forcing their agenda of returning their disgraced former president to the White House.”
