Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressional Integrity Project launched a bike billboard welcoming James Comer and Jim Jordan back from recess, highlighting that even conservatives think their political stunts masquerading as investigations have been embarrassing failures. The billboard follows a report that Congressional Integrity Project released on Monday detailing six months of stunts, wrong priorities, and failure since Republicans took over control of the House. In addition, Congressional Integrity Project executive director Kyle Herrig issued the following statement:

“Nothing underscores the fact that Comer and Jordan’s investigations have been utter failures more than conservatives like former Trump advisors Sebastian Gorka and Steve Bannon calling them out for failing to find a single shred of evidence to back up their wild and baseless accusations against President Biden and his family. House Republicans have wasted six months on partisan stunts masquerading as investigations and they have absolutely nothing to show for it. It is far past time for House Republicans to stop playing these games and start addressing the issues Americans care about like the economy, health care, the cost of living and gun violence.”
