DOGE Enlists Shadowy MAGA Groups Opposed to Critical Education, Health Care, and Environmental Programs
Washington, D.C. — Trump’s DOGE is outsourcing its research to a network of shadowy nonprofits, often billionaire-funded, that support cuts to critical programs working people rely on, according to reports. In response, Congressional Integrity Project executive director, Kyle Herring, has issued the following statement:
“If there is one thing the American people certainly didn’t vote for in November, it was to empower this cabal of unelected, unappointed, and unaccountable groups to tear apart the American safety net, weaponize the government against their opponents and to do all this to give another massive tax cut to Elon Musk and Donald Trump. DOGE should stand for the Department of Greed and Excess because all they and these often billionaire-funded groups want to do is to make the rich richer at the expense of health care, education, the environment and our democracy. At the end of day, the American people simply aren’t going to allow this new American oligarchy to destroy the programs and institutions that have made America and our way of life the envy of the world.”
