In yet another embarrassing blow to James Comer and his investigation into President Biden, his star witness whose claims have been the lynchpin in the House Republicans’ investigation was arrested yesterday for lying in his statements about President Biden and his son. Now Comer is saying that the House may never actually hold a vote on impeaching President Biden.
In response, Congressional Integrity Project executive director, Kyle Herrig, issued the following statement:
“Comer conceding that Republicans might not have enough votes to impeach President Biden should not be surprising since Comer has failed to find a single shred of evidence of wrongdoing by President Biden and even his fellow Republicans have criticized his impeachment attempt with one calling it a ‘parade of embarrassments.’ So far Comer has been okay being the grand marshall of this clown show parade but a man can only take so much. How many more embarrassments can Comer handle before admitting that there is no there, there in this baseless impeachment investigation?”
