Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressional Integrity Project released a new report, Meet the Ultra-MAGA House Committees Led By James Comer and Jim Jordan, which details how the committees are made up of and led with the most noxious MAGA Republicans and Trump allies that Donald Trump has to offer. Congressional Integrity Project Executive Director, Kyle Herrig, said the following about the report:
“The Republican House Committees mentioned in this report are some of the most unserious and untrustworthy committees we have ever seen. They are made up of election deniers, insurrectionist allies, conspiracy theorists, and subpoena dodgers. Their investigations will not be credible and will be fueled by partisan warfare, spearheaded by Donald Trump, in an effort to bring more power to themselves, harm President Biden, and ignore the issues that affect Americans the most, like inflation. It’s clear the inmates are running the asylum.”
