MEDIA ADVISORY: CIP Launches Multi-Pronged Campaign Calling for the End of the Impeachment Farce

Washington, D.C. – Today, the Congressional Integrity Project officially calls on MAGA House Republicans to end the baseless impeachment inquiry into President Biden. CIP is launching a multi-pronged campaign, which includes a mobile billboard, wheat pasting, a new website (comerimpeachmentfail.com), and a national digital advertisement, all detailing the massive failure and inexcusable political stunt that will define this MAGA Congress.
Congressional Integrity Project executive director Kyle Herrig said the following:
“The revelations that Smirnov peddled a Russian lie is just the latest proof that MAGA House Republicans must end this impeachment effort. Despite being warned, MAGA House Republicans like Jim Jordan and James Comer aided a Russian disinformation campaign to hurt President Biden and help Donald Trump.
“It’s time for Congress and the country to move on. These conspiracy theories and lies have been proven false for years and the revelation about Smirnov is just the punctuation mark to what has been a ridiculous investigation that uncovered zero evidence of wrongdoing by the President. Congress should turn to the important issues facing our country and not waste time on baseless political attacks.”
