Washington, D.C. – Today, panicky MAGA House Republicans will move forward with a new political stunt targeting Vice President Kamala Harris when they put forward a motion to condemn her over supposed actions at the border. This is nothing more than another example of MAGA Republicans abusing their power to attack their political rivals to help convicted felon Donald Trump return to the White House so he can impose their radical Project 2025 agenda on the American people.
In response, Congressional Integrity Project executive director Kyle Herrig said the following:
“MAGA House Republicans’ motion to condemn Vice President Harris is nothing more than a political stunt to attack the presumptive Democratic nominee for president. Vice President Harris and the Biden-Harris administration have taken action to secure our border and ensure our immigration system lives up to our values. As a result, border crossings are down 50%. MAGA Congressional Republicans blocked bipartisan legislation to secure our border because Donald Trump directed them to. MAGA Republicans are continuing to use Congress as an arm of the Trump campaign and ignoring the important priorities of Americans across the country.”
