COMER’S LATEST LIE:
James Comer on Newsmax last night: “the reason that [impeachment] is taking so long … is that there is more evidence that comes in every day.”
THE FACTS:
James Comer has spent almost a year relentlessly investigating President Biden and has not found a single shred of evidence of wrongdoing by him, let alone an impeachable offense.
Don’t take our word for it! Fellow MAGA House Republican Garret Graves (R-LA) said last month, “I have not seen any impeachable offenses.”
We’ll jog your memory, Mr. Chairman:
- Comer’s star witness in his baseless impeachment investigation was indicted in February for making false statements accusing President Biden and his son Hunter of corruption and bribery. That same witness was also exposed for meeting with and being fed information by Russian intelligence officials.
- Comer’s own witnesses have said that they haven’t seen any evidence of wrongdoing or impeccable offenses, including Jonathan Turley and Devon Archer.
- Interview after interview with other Biden family members and business associates yielded absolutely no evidence for James Comer.
As always, James Comer is all hat, no cattle.
