Washington, D.C. – This week, the Congressional Integrity Project launched a new billboard in Atlanta, Georgia calling out Donald Trump and his allies in Congress for trying to interfere in the criminal investigations into Trump’s multi-prong plan to overturn the 2020 election. In Georgia, Donald Trump and his 19 co-defendants are charged for their efforts to overturn the 2020 election, which resulted in the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol.

Congressional Integrity Project executive director, Kyle Herrig, issued the following statement:

“Just as Donald Trump tried to interfere with the 2020 election results, he has now instructed his MAGA cronies like Jim Jordan to use their official positions in Congress to interfere with investigations into his alleged criminal actions. No matter the delay tactics Trump and his allies deploy, no Georgian will forget when Trump demanded the Georgia Secretary of State to ‘find’ 11,780 votes to help him overturn the true results of the election. Donald Trump and all those involved in this attempted coup must be held accountable for his crimes.”
