Congressional Integrity Project Launches “The Fraud Ledger”: A Public Record of the Corruption, Self-Dealing, and Pay-to-Play Defining Trump’s Second Term

Oct 20, 2026

Washington, D.C. — The Congressional Integrity Project today launched TheFraudLedger.org, a running, sourced record of the fraud, waste, and corruption committed by the Trump administration since January 2025. The site answers the White House’s own “Fraud Ledger” at Fraud.gov, a farcical project JD Vance’s task force rolled out to distract from the self-dealing happening inside the administration itself.

Trump promised to drain the swamp. The public record tells a different story. Forbes estimated the Trump family’s fortune nearly doubled to $10 billion in the year after the 2024 election, with Trump himself raking in $3 billion, two-thirds of it from crypto. The Ledger logs 79 documented schemes from Trump and his cronies since August, each drawn from published reporting, court filings, and financial disclosures.

The record includes nearly $22 million in taxpayer money spent airing pro-Trump TV ads, paid for with funds Congress approved for border security and memorials to officers killed in the line of duty. It documents a secret $500 million investment in the Trump family’s crypto venture from Abu Dhabi’s national security adviser four days before the inauguration, before the administration cleared the sale of hundreds of thousands of advanced AI chips a year to the UAE, including to his company. It tracks a Putin-linked oligarch who paid for Don Jr.’s wedding party, more than $6 billion in active or promised government contracts for companies backed by Trump’s sons, and a leaked $333 million ballroom donor list that includes the daughter of a banker Trump pardoned.

TheFraudLedger.org allows reporters, researchers, and the public to follow the money from foreign governments, megadonors, and crypto buyers back to the Trump family.

Congressional Integrity Project Spokesperson Jeremy J. Funk released the following statement:

“The White House built a ‘fraud’ website that conveniently left its own name off the list. So we finished the job. From the UAE’s secret $500 million stake in the Trump family’s crypto company to taxpayer-funded campaign ads, the Trump family has turned the presidency into the most lucrative business deal of their lives, and the American people are footing the bill. If this administration were serious about rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse, it would start by looking in the mirror.”
