Washington, D.C. – Today, the Congressional Integrity Project filed a FOIA request with Arlington National Cemetery for copies of documents related to the Trump campaign staff’s violent incident at Arlington National Cemetery. The FOIA follows reporting from NPR and confirmation by the US Army of an altercation between Donald Trump’s campaign staff with an official at Arlington National Cemetery. Yesterday, the Congressional Integrity Project called on House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer to investigate the incident and the Trump campaign’s use of the cemetery for political purposes.
Below, please find a copy of a Freedom of Information Act Request, filed by Kyle Herrig, Executive Director of the Congressional Integrity Project, with Arlington National Cemetery for the incident report and other communications related to this incident.
