Washington, D.C. – Today, the House Oversight Committee released their interview transcripts with Hunter Biden’s friend and lawyer, Kevin Morris. Like other transcripts and testimonies to date, including the testimonies from Georges Bergès and Devon Archer, Morris’s transcript refutes the GOP allegations behind the bogus Biden impeachment stunt. This is yet another blow to Chairman James Comer who has failed to call a single witness who has been to support their evidence-free claims against President Biden.
In response, Congressional Integrity Project executive director, Kyle Herrig, issued the following statement:
“Like each of the other witness testimonies so far, Morris’s testimony confirms that President Biden had no involvement in his son’s business dealings and refutes James Comer and the MAGA House GOP’s narrative. After over a year of investigations, MAGA House Republicans cannot point to a single shred of evidence of wrongdoing by President Biden. MAGA House Republicans are focused on the wrong priorities as they continue to pursue this political stunt and ignore the important issues facing hard-working Americans across the country all to help Donald Trump return to office.”
