Washington, DC – On February 23, 2023, Congressional Integrity Project will launch a mobile billboard outside Yuma City Hall in Yuma, Arizona, while the House Judiciary Committee holds their latest political stunt they’re calling a “hearing”. The mobile billboard will remind Rep. Jim Jordan and the MAGA House Majority that these hearings are MAGA Republicans’ latest attempt at harming President Biden and Democrats and are not about addressing the real issues facing our country. Congressional Integrity Project Executive Director, Kyle Herrig, issued the following statement:
“Jim Jordan is only focused on one thing and one thing only: revenge on President Biden and Democrats rather than tackling the issues that are really facing the American people. MAGA Republicans in the House spent all four years of the Trump Administration refusing to provide oversight into Trump’s failed border policies, they voted against border security funding in December and they have walked away from every effort at comprehensive immigration reform for years. House Republicans have zero credibility when it comes to the border and, unlike President Biden, they have presented no comprehensive plan to address border security or immigration reform. This so-called hearing is just another political stunt by MAGA Republicans and Americans deserve better.”
