Republicans spent months defending Trump for repeatedly obstructing investigations into classified documents he had at Mar-a-Lago. Then, when President Biden immediately turned over classified documents his lawyers found to the FBI, House Oversight Chair James Comer made an onslaught of demands for documents, hearings, and investigations. This week, it was revealed that former Vice President Mike Pence also discovered classified documents at his home and turned them over to the FBI—yet Comer has yet to issue the same demands as he has for President Biden. The GOP’s baseless investigations are nothing more than partisan games, and Comer’s overt hypocrisy has never been more glaringly obvious:
