Washington D.C. – Today, the Congressional Integrity Project issued the following statement in response to a press conference held by House Committee on Oversight and Reform Ranking Member James Comer and House Committee on the Judiciary Ranking Member Jim Jordan.
“Today’s press conference by Representative Comer and Representative Jordan highlights House Republicans’ true intentions – politically motivated investigations into President Biden, his family, and his cabinet,” said Kyle Herrig, Executive Director of the Congressional Integrity Project. “Instead of addressing the issues that affect the American people the most, they are acting like Donald Trump and pushing their radical MAGA Republican agenda. They haven’t learned their lesson. The American people rejected the MAGA agenda on election day and they reject it now. Instead of working with President Biden to curb inflation, lower costs for families, protect our rights, and keep our country strong, Congressional Republicans only plan to investigate, impeach, impede progress for the American people.”
