Washington, D.C. – This weekend, Congressional Integrity Project welcomed Rep. James Comer back home to his district with an updated billboard, calling on his constituents to go to InvestigateComer.com. The billboard follows the Congressional Integrity Project’s letter to the Fayette Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, calling for an investigation into Comer’s involvement in obtaining and distributing leaked emails and, if there is sufficient evidence, for criminal action against him. Congressional Integrity Project executive director, Kyle Herrig, issued the following statement:

“No one is above the law, including James Comer. After potentially stealing and hacking into a server (which he all but admitted to in the New York Times), his gubernatorial campaign initiated and leaked details of a grand jury investigation to hurt his perceived opponents. Comer has proven himself to be vindictive and driven by revenge, even in his role as chair of the Oversight committee, launching baseless investigations designed to hurt the Biden administration. With all the accusations against him, what credibility does Comer have to conduct oversight investigations into others when he won’t even answer for his own actions to further his political career?”
